It's Oscar season! The Oscars will be awarded in March, so it's the perfect time to see a movie! Afterward, you and fellow MCC members enjoy good food and lively conversation at a Dutch-treat dinner at Cafe Jefe! Members are welcome to join us for the movie, dinner, or both. We will meet at MSP Film @ the Main at 3:30 pm for the 3:45 pm movie, followed by a Dutch treat dinner at Jefe Urban Cocina to discuss the movie. If you've already seen the movie, but would like to meet us at the restaurant at 6:00 pm, please let us know by answering the question that will pop up. The movie we will be seeing is Perfect Days, written and directed by Wim Wenders. It's up for Best International Film, and is split between English and Japanese. Here's the synopsis: Hirayama feels content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, reads books and takes photos. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world.
