Join us as we hear from Michelle Ness, Executive Director of PRISM as she discusses food insecurity and poverty in our community. PRISM is a nonprofit social service organization that provides food support, housing assistance, and clothing for basic-wage earners and low-income community members. During this session you will learn more about hunger, and poverty in general, and how PRISM provides a dignified space for meeting basic needs. We will discuss the definition of hunger, current community responses, and the best ways for you to be part of the solution.
