Playwrights' Center's Producing Artistic Director Jeremy Cohen will lead a 45-minute tour especially for MCC of the building that will become the Center's new home and he will share the Center's vision for how it will expand its services supporting playwrights and theatermakers.

After the tour, we’ll head up the block for the second half of our program, at the Naughty Greek restaurant, to hear from a playwright the Playwrights’ Center has supported and for conversation about the Center and its future.

Playwrights' Center sustains, develops, and advocates for playwrights and their work to realize their full artistic potential. Join us to learn about the Center's plan to build an innovative, highly accessible, and internationally renowned art center in the heart of the Twin Cities.

Please note: While Playwrights' Center's building will ultimately be fully accessible, the current structure can only be accessed via stairs. In advance of beginning construction, the building's heat is limited, so visitors are encouraged to dress warmly and are advised that the restrooms are not operational.

On-street parking is available on both Raymond and Myrtle, or directly in front of and to the left of the building (you'll see other cars parked there). The building entrance is located on Myrtle.
