Please use this "event" to sign up for the 2023 Great Decisions program series.

What is Great Decisions? Great Decisions is a foreign policy discussion program. The Foreign Policy Association has chosen eight timely topics and will publish a briefing book on those topics, which serves as a focal text for discussion groups across the country. Global Minnesota vets speakers for the many Great Decisions groups in the state, including MCC's.

What are the topics for 2023? 
Energy Geopolitics, War Crimes, China and the U.S., Economic Warfare, Politics in Latin America, Global Famine, Iran at a Crossroads and Climate Migration

When is Great Decisions?
MCC's 2023 Great Decisions programs will be held January 23, February 27, March 20, April 17, May 15, September 18, October 16 & November 20 from 7-8:30 pm. You don't need to attend every program. NOTE: Due to holidays, the January and February meetings will be on the fourth Monday of the month. All other months we will meet on the third Monday of the month.

Where does it meet?
Great Decisions programs in January, February and March will be on Zoom. All remaining programs will be held in person at De LaSalle High School, 1 De LaSalle Drive, Minneapolis. We hope to record every program and will provide the recording upon request to any MCC Great Decisions member.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $35 per member for the year. If you would like to order one of the briefing books published by the Foreign Policy Association, the cost is $25.92 per book. The $35 fee pays for speaker honorariums and room fees; $25.92 covers the briefing book actual cost.

How do I pay?
You can pay online or send a check payable to Mill City Commons. Mailing address for checks is: Mill City Commons, 219 Main St. SE, Suite 115, Minneapolis, MN 55414. 

What is the deadline to sign up?
Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 12:00 Noon.

How do I sign up?
Please follow these steps to register:
1. Click HERE and then click on the "Register Now" button.
2. Select your Registration Option (single or couple and payment type, including book purchase options - note, books are not required)
3. Type your spouse/partner's name when prompted OR type N/A if registering as a single.
4. Click Complete Registration
5. On the Payments Page, select your payment method from the dropdown menu (credit card or check).
     5a. If paying by credit card, enter your card information and click Submit Payment.
     5b. If paying by check, simply click Done. Or you can choose to print an invoice for your records. Don't forget to mail your check to MCC!
6. You can also email staff and we will help register you. Just let us know who wants to participate and whether you'd like a briefing book.

**Note: There is no event on December 14th. We are simply using the registration process to capture sign-ups and online payments. You will still need to register for each individual Great Decisions program in 2023 once they are scheduled.
