Student test results in Minnesota schools show some of the worst education gaps by race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status in the nation. Why? The State of Minnesota's constitution has determined that our children receive an "adequate and uniform" education, rather than a "quality" education. The proposed Page Amendment challenges this directly: What IS quality education and why isn't it a right in Minnesota's Constitution?  Join Mike Ciresi, board member of the non-partisan Our Children, as we explore this issue. His non-profit group drives an urgent effort behind the Page Amendment to make quality education a constitutional right. Please join us for a pre-program social at 6:30 pm.

Interested in carpooling? Click on the registrant list and find a member in your building or near you that you can connect with and ask to share a ride. Or, feel free to contact the MCC office for a suggestion.
