Fall migration means a change in the array of birds available to see on Twin Cities bird-watching walks. Experience a fall birding walk with naturalist Gregg Severson. We hope to see some migrating warblers, sparrows, and thrushes. Walks will use pandemic protocols*. Locations for the walks will be announced the week ahead. Due to physical distancing guidelines, this event is limited to ten participants.
NOTE: You don’t have to be a serious birder to participate—this is a chance to learn! And these are not strenuous hikes but rather easy walks with lots of stopping. If you have them, bring your own binoculars and field guides. *Pandemic Protocol: Please plan to walk alone or in pairs, six feet apart with face masks. Please refrain from attending if you are not feeling well or you think you may have been in contact with anyone infected in the last two weeks.
