COVID-19 has disrupted economies around the world. What are we learning about the economic impact and how are we studying it? Join us as Christopher Phelan, Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota and consultant to the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, gives an overview of how economists are studying the COVID-19 pandemic. He will also share his current research which examines the economic benefits and costs of policies that use targeted testing and isolation to manage the spread of the virus.
