About this event
MCC is partnering for its third year with Minnesota PBS’s “Viewers Like Us” club. Each video will prompt us to explore and discuss thought-provoking topics. Sessions will be in person but there will also be the option to participate by Zoom. If this continues to be of interest to MCC members, there are many other movie/documentary choices that TPT can offer us for future programs.
Minnesota: A Better World answers the question, "What does the wild mean to Americans today?" To find out, Baratunde Thurston journeys into Minnesota’s Arrowhead Region, one of the last places where you can hike or paddle your way into the remote wilderness. From passionate birders to harvesters of wild rice, he encounters a fascinating cast of characters—and hears from them why wilderness means so much.
