About this event
Ever wonder what really happens after you click “Buy Now” on Amazon? Join us for a fascinating behind-the-scenes walking tour of the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Shakopee, where people and technology work side-by-side in a massive, fast-moving operation. This facility is a robotics-sortable center, designed to ship items that are smaller than a microwave with remarkable speed and accuracy. You’ll see how Amazon employees collaborate with an army of energetic robots—picture Roombas with ambition—to pick, sort, and route products to customers across the country. Along the way, you’ll learn how automation, logistics, and human expertise intersect to make one of the world’s most complex delivery systems run smoothly.
This tour is limited to 13 participants.
Registration closes on Tuesday, January 13.
Parking and Entrance information: Please use Employee parking lot, as there are no designated visitor parking spaces.
