About this event
Join other MCC pedalers for a ride toward the west! From the Red Cross parking lot we'll bike to the Midtown Greenway, taking it just past the Hopkins Depot. At 11th Avenue in Hopkins we’ll head south toward Nine Mile Creek.
We’ll work our way to the Nine Mile Creek regional trail, experiencing some new bike paths just opened last year. After a few miles in the park, we’ll turn around to retrace our steps.
For those interested in a Pizza Luce lunch, we'll stop at its Blake Road location just east of the Hopkins Depot. After lunch, for variety, we will pedal back into town. Total mileage: ~30-32 miles.
Interested in a much shorter ride? You can transport your bike to the Hopkins Depot parking lot. Plan to meet us there at 10:30! Your ride will be much shorter, 10-12 miles or so, but you’ll have some hills to keep it interesting. It will also be easy to join in for lunch. Just let either Dianne Iverson or Jane Helsing know if that is your plan.
