About this event
University of Minnesota professor Kathryn Pearson will discuss the Democrat’s current presidential nominating contest, the 2020 presidential and congressional elections, and conclude with remarks on challenges and opportunities for women in both parties running for, and serving in, elected office. Pearson is an associate professor specializing in American politics; her research focuses on the United States Congress, congressional elections, political parties, and women and politics.
