Suits and Suitcases Drive

4:00 AM to 5:00 AM

What:

Inspired by January’s kick-off neighborhood breakfast at People Serving People, Mill City Commons will be collecting clean, gently used suits and other business attire as well as suitcases to donate to the clients at People Serving People. These items are essential for job interviews and when clients move from PSP to new homes, so clean out those closets!

  • Drop off your donations at North Star Lofts (117 Portland Ave) or the MCC office (17 4th St SE) March 3rd to the morning of March 29th
  • Donations will be packed for delivery from 10:00 – 11:00 amon Monday, March 29thWe need 4-6 volunteers for this. Email emilyhutchinson [at] millcitycommons [dot] org (subject: suits%20and%20suitcases) if you would like to volunteer.
  • Donations will be presented at the bi-monthly neighborhood breakfast at People Serving People Wednesday March 31st at 8:00am. Please join us!
